Saturday Creative Art Classes for Kids$140 - 8 weeks

Each session of art classes include:
DRAWING, PAINTING, POTTERY/CERAMICS, MIXED MEDIA, SCULPTURE... and more


Class A - 9:00-10:30 amAges 5-8

This mixed media based class will encourage children to explore and learn about many art materials and techniques using artist-quality tools and materials. Each lesson is tied in to themes and subject matter from history, literature, science, social science and the environment. Young artists will gain an appreciation and understanding of art history in a fun and creative way. In a studio filled with exciting materials and tools and inspired by visits from local artists, students will turn their ideas into works of art - their very own masterpieces!


Class B - 10:40-12:10 pmAges 9-12

This class is carefully designed to offer older children plenty of choice, while incorporating a fine balance between fun, creative, engaging and skill-based lessons in a variety of media. The lessons are designed to teach children proper technical skills in both classical and the latest studio approaches. Each student is encouraged to trust their own creative choices and develop their unique artistic style using artist-quality tools and material. Lesson themes and subject matter from history, literature, science, social science and the environment will encourage the young artists to gain an appreciation and understanding of art history in a fun and creative way.
