| Advanced Art / Portfolio Preparation $320 Gr. 7-12 (8 wks) *2 hr class 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Tuesdays Students will complete a number of art pieces including but not limited to drawing using a variety of mediums (chalk and oil pastels, graphite, charcoal and conte, artists markers etc.), painting using a variety of mediums ( acrylics, oils, inks watercolour etc.), ceramics, sculpture, anime, mixed media and collage. Art history and an understanding of the Master Painters is an integrated part of the students hands on lessons. This studio course is highly recommended for artists interested in building a portfolio of work in anticipation of further art studies at the high school or post secondary level. Students will build upon their repertoire of art-making techniques through a series of hands-on projects. Techniques covered in this course may be individually tailored to meet specific portfolio criteria requirements for the students intended school of application. No class on Monday May 23rd |
