Advanced Art / Portfolio Preparation $320 Gr. 7-12 (8 wks) *2 hr class
6:00 - 8:00 pm - Tuesdays - May 3 to June 21

This studio course is highly recommended for student artists interested in building a portfolio of work in anticipation of further art studies at the high school or post secondary level. If we know the students intended school of application,
we will research the portfolio requirements and individually tailor the students lessons towards meeting the specific portfolio criteria.

Students will complete a number of art pieces including but not limited to: drawing using a variety of mediums (chalk and oil pastels, graphite, charcoal and conte, artists markers etc.), painting using a variety of mediums ( acrylics, oils, inks watercolour etc.), ceramics, sculpture, anime, mixed media and collage. Art history and an understanding of the Master Painters is an integrated part of the students course.
